We enjoyed a delightful afternoon and evening with our home school group making a craft, a bird feeder, watching a science experiment, eating and visiting. Thank you to all who planned the activities for the children. Thank you also to everyone for bringing the yummy food and for cleaning up afterwards.
There were several sculptures that are part of the Sioux Falls Sculpture Walk. We also spotted several signs that showed us it was pheasant hunting season in South Dakota and that hunters arrive at this airport. We enjoyed a mini art gallery as well. And of course we had to stop and see the larger than life sculpture of Joe Foss. Did I mention before we left home for the airport C mentioned that his tummy hurt? Did I also mention that we had several errands to do after we dropped my parents off at the airport? C threw up as soon as we got to the car in the parking lot. I was so thankful for being in the parking lot and not in the airport! I wiped him up, and changed his clothes and we continued on our errands, with a throw up bucket by his side. By the next day he was all better and no one else got sick.
